Born in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Cristina has been a part of the Pastrana Law Firm family since 2009 helping injured people get the compensation they deserve. She received her Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 2019. While attending the University of Texas, Cristina kept true to her roots and helped many families while she served as a pro-bono law student at the Family Detention Center in Karnes, Texas. In July 2019, she successfully passed the Texas Bar Exam and she was named partner at Pastrana Law Firm.
Before coming to Texas, Cristina attended the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Tamaulipas School of Law and graduated in 2005. Shortly after, Cristina was hired by the Secretary of Foreign Relations in Mexico and was assigned to Mexico’s Consulate office in Austin, Texas from 2006 to 2007. In 2007, Cristina accepted a diplomatic assignment as the Chief of Staff for the Ambassador of Mexico in China. She was also a Press Attaché during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. In 2009, she returned to Texas from Asia and joined the Pastrana Law Firm.
Cristina thrives on helping others navigate through our legal system and genuinely cares about the well-being of everyone she represents. She resides in Travis County where she enjoys the Central Texas weather and spending time with her husband and two children.
